WELCOME! You are now a member of the most reputable hospitality student organization in Central Florida. 

We all want to leave a legacy. We all hope to inspire someone else to be the best at what they do. Being a part of the hospitality industry allows us to serve others and showcase what we are good at. As a member of FHLA (Future Hospitality Leaders of America) we have the opportunity to not only impact the community here in Central Florida but to also network and establish connections with industry executives. 

Take a moment to decide what you want from your membership in FHLA. Members of FHLA have many experiences together. We learn from each other. We laugh together. One of my fondest memories as a member was the amazing time we had at the 2011 Orlando Calling event. To see each member leave with a smile as we bonded and split over $500 in tips was the most amazing experience. We have participated together in the craziness of the concerts and Magic games at the Amway Center. The resounding success of the Taste of Dr. Phillips, Wine & Dine on 9, and Food & Wine Festival show just how dedicated our members are to our community.

This year I encourage you to make your mark as an FHLA member: Build Your Legacy! Be determined to leave a lasting impact on the community. My main goal is to work with and build a legacy with your Executive Board by developing new activities that will focus on doing more for you, our members and that will positively affect our community. One objective we are committed to, is giving you the opportunity to connect with the universities that you are considering transferring to as you complete your goals here at Valencia. We are also dedicated to strengthening the involvement between our organization and the community.
