Community Gateway

Future Hospitality Leaders of America is a proud partner in the Central Florida community. The Executive Board visits high school hospitality and business classes to promote the hospitality industry, volunteering in the community and post-secondary education. Many of the volunteer opportunities that we participate in focus directly on the community. In 2012, we were invited to participate in the Hispanic Heritage Luncheon with Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs. When CFHLA hosts it's Adopt-A-Station program on September 11 of every year, we adopt a local fire/police station to show our support of what our first responders do for the community. We volunteer for many other purposes including events sponsored by the Dr. Phillips Rotary Club; A Taste of Dr. Phillips, Wine & Dine on 9, and many more. FHLA is also the hospitality organization that works with both the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association and the Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association. From the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Show, and the Downtown Food & Wine Fest to Bacchus Bash, we provide numerous volunteers to assist with the production of these premier events. This favorable reputation has allowed FHLA to receive donations to our non-profit organization from these volunteer opportunities.
